Music... Things.

April's getting closer, so why don't I talk about more audio-related things I've been up to in the past months?

• V. Smile Soundfont

Since about a month ago, I've been collecting V. Smile ROMs to rip instruments from with iDog Hacker's "V.Ripper" Python script. The soundfont needs a bit of polishing, but I'll probably upload it some time around April.

 MIDIs

I haven't talked about this much, but I usually make MIDI transcriptions of certain songs (mostly ringtones or meme music). I'm currently brainstorming of ways to share them, so stay tuned.

• Messing around with CMX Studio

Ever since I heard of Qualcomm's CMX Studio software via Old Phone Preservation's Twitter, I've started messing around with it and scrapped the idea of a CMX SF2.

That's all I have for now, so stay tuned for the next blog post!
